PRODUCTION DIARY.

DAY ONE:
Day one of filming. We decided to film the scene in the toilet with Tanisha and her friend bullying another girl in the toilets. We had a few difficulties with the acting but we were able to capture the whole scene. The toilets were really hot and kept having to take breaks in between the filming so that the actors could resume themselves. Alot fo people kept coming into the toilet and we had to forcefully send them away in order to finish the filming quickly! It took us around thirty minutes to film and we got a few bloopers on the way!

DAY TWO:
Tonight Rukhsar said she'll film the establishing shot. She filmed it from her balcony as she had the perfect view of the setting our film is based in, it can't get better then that can it? She had the tripod so it took her very little time to film it. However when she was done she saw a group of people below sitting in the park and decided to film it as it's a typical view of a group of teenagers up to no good and what is our film reflecting on? Exactly! It was a coincidence and we couldn't believe our luck!

DAY THREE:
Today we're filming two scenes. The scene with two boys fighting and the intimate scene. It was realy easy to find the characters who would film as a lot of people had a free lesson and were eager to help us. It was lesson time and the corridors and playgrounds were empty so we decided to take advantage of the space ans start filming as soon as possible. We filmed the fighting scene first in the playground and took us just a couple of minutes as we didn't need dialogue because music will be playing when the scene appears. The boys were really helpful and happy to help, so thanks. We then filmed the intimate scene. This one was a lot more difficlut as the characters were laughing and joking around because they were a little embarassed *blushes* and alot of the girls had a try with the same guy: Jorge, and in the end Arta was able to crack it, so well done and thanks!

DAY FOUR:
This is our second day of filming. We've filmed the scene of Jamal (Adam) on the phone having a conversation about his drug business. We didn't have much diffiiculties filming except that it was windy and we were worried that it would affect the audio of the dialogue however it didn't and it was fine. However we also had dfficulites filming smoothly because a lot of people were walking past and we had to keep pausing in order for them to walk past and let us proceed. That did affect us in terms of time as it took us a while to get it all done especially with the mistakes that happened (bloopers.

DAY FIVE:
This is our third day of filming. We decided to film the scene of Tanisha bullying another girl. It was quite fun as the characters were our friends and we had Alot of bloopers when we were done. It did not take long to film, perhaps around an 30 minutes? However when we came to capture this on the imac, the audio wasn't there and so we had to go out and film it all over again!
This time the characters we had before were no able to do it so we decided to ask other people as we couldn't wait any longer to get filming otherwise we could risk being behind. So we got Fatna and Sarah and Ali and Adnan to be our characters. They were really eager to do it and had a lot of fun at the same time. Cheers Guys!

DAY SIX:
Today was day four of Filming. We're filming Rukhsar's part where she takes off her hijab. We were really looking foward to filming this scene as it's a really shocking part. We didn't have any difficulties but with people walking past every now and then resulted in us filming over and ovr again until there were no distractions. However like the previous day there was no audio when we captured it. Therefore Rukhsar had to get up early in the morning to get the filming done once again and we were really delighted as it came out to be better then before. Additionally as it was early in the morning there wasn't much people and so it was easier to film and quicker!
